Undergraduate Program
Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.)
An undergraduate early and middle childhood pre-education program is available through OSU Mansfield. This program prepares students for application to the master's program for teacher licensure. Contact the undergraduate education counselor for more information.
Graduate Programs
Master of Education (M.Ed.) program
A professional program for individuals holding either education or non-education baccalaureate degrees or those holding master's degrees who are seeking initial teaching licensure. The M.Ed. program is designed for those who wish to obtain their initial teaching license in early childhood (preK-3) or middle childhood (grades 4-9)
Master of Arts (M.A.) program
A program designed for certified teachers who want to expand their areas of certification or knowledge of teaching. It can be tailored to meet students' needs, interests, and aspirations. Areas of concentration include -- Children's Literature & Literacy, Multicultural Education & Social Studies, Early Childhood, and Math, Science, & Technology.
Reading Endorsement
A program designed for individuals who want to earn their Reading Endorsement either separately or as part of the Master of Arts (M. A.) Degree. It is a preplanned program, so you can look ahead and see what works best for your schedule.
